Q: How much are the
monthly dues to join the Writers Guild?
A: Effective January 1, 2017 dues are $25 per year. No Fear!
Scholarships are available - just mention the need to Charles.
Q: Do I need a
Computer?
A: A computer and how to use it is important but not absolutely
necessary. We communicate via email and use this website for
announcements and distribution of handouts and study materials.
Q: What are Special
events?
A: We sometimes have workshops or special guest speakers for the
benefit of our members. Some of these require a modest fee. (Again
Scholarships are available!)
We sponsor an annual Writer's Read for Friends and Family the first Saturday evening in November each year to celebrate our writing achievements for the year. It has always been a fun event.
Q: Are there any
mandatory activities?
A: No. but regular attendance to monthly meetings is important and
of course, you are expected to honor any commitments you have made
to participate in programs, projects or special events.
